Two Becoming Three - Forth Bridge, Forth Road Bridge & Queensferry Crossing, South Queensferry, West Lothian
To the west, behind the two other iconic Forth Bridges, the new Queensferry Crossing takes shape on its way to becoming the UK’s tallest bridge. In the foreground is the Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spectacular feat of Victorian railway engineering. In the middle, is the Forth Road Bridge, which was the longest suspension bridge span outside the United States when it was completed in 1964.
