Remembrance - The War Memorial, Strontian, Sunart

The Strontian War Memorial sits on a rocky outcrop by the eastern entrance to the village and commemorates 36 soldiers who gave their lives in World War I and 3 more who gave their lives in World War II and is inscribed with some powerful words of remembrance. “THESE WERE OURS IN THE DAYS OF THEIR BOYHOOD AND THEIR NAMES HAVE BECOME OUR HERITAGE.”

Flowing to the Stars I - Sanna Bay, Sanna, Ardnamurchan

A stream flows from the sand dunes at Sanna finds its way round the rocks and out to the sea. In the distance, a band of Airglow lights the horizon and the Milky Way soars above the light from the Cairns of Coll Lighthouse which located on the small island of Suil Ghorm about 2 km northeast of the coast of Coll.
